This adaptive historical re-use project consists of 28 market rate apartments and two commercial spaces designed for a restaurant and retail tenant. The construction of this project consisted of the repurposing of three historically relevant buildings in the downtown area of New Bedford. The project utilized Historical Tax credits due to its salvaging of the existing façade of the wood structure, originally built in the 1700’s. This project provides apartment/loft style housing in an urban downtown area previously under utilized.
