Chatham Village Foods Renovation

DF Pray completed the renovations and related site improvements of two buildings for T. Marzetti Company in order to expand the operations of their Chatham Village Foods operations. The 3,000 sq. ft. Building A was renovated to expand manufacturing operations while the 47,000 sq. ft. Building was renovated for packaging and warehousing operations. Building B required the construction of a Structural Steel interior frame to accommodate a mezzanine and walkable ceiling. As the processing equipment had already been purchased, DF Pray worked closely with the owner and equipment manufacturer to ensure seamless delivery and installation.

The project was in the middle stages of construction during hurricane Sandy. DF Pray set up generators and assisted the owner with staying operational while also coordinating with local utility companies to get main power back on-line. DF Pray coordinated for the owner all phases of the project from permitting to final inspections.
