D.F. Pray completed construction on roughly 90,185 sq. ft. of plant additions and renovations. The new spaces include: dry storage, utilities block, silo alley, and process renovations. The work also
included selective demolition and site work.
The Dry Storage building addition is a traditional post-and-beam structure with exterior structural concrete panels approx. 34’ high at the parapet. The Utilities Block building addition is also a traditional post-and-beam structure approx. 28’ high at the parapet and includes an electrical room and Pasteurized CIP room. Silo alley is a 470 sq. ft. insulated concrete wall panel bearing structure approx. 17’ high at the roof.
Process renovations include a new maintenance room, powder dump, ante room, redline rooms, control room, aseptic surge, and aseptic filling room, a new corridor, retains cooler, hot box, and quality control lab. Additional work was completed in the existing process area and existing cooler. A roughly 1,500 sq.ft. second floor was constructed over the maintenance, powder dump, ante room, control room, and redline room. The second floor contains manufacturing offices and the server room.
