D.F. Pray completed a new 18,843 sq. ft. health care center for the Narragansett Indian Tribe on sacred land in Charlestown, RI. The unique arc shaped building embraces a natural bowl that was used for ritual gatherings. Great care was taken throughout construction to not disturb artifacts located on the site.
The new building is a combination of timber frame, steel, and wood frame. Contained within are exam rooms, 3 state of the art dental suites, offices, and various support spaces.
