Scott Pray’s affiliation with the D.F. Pray legacy dates back to the company’s establishment in 1959 by his father, C. Edward Pray, and partners. He began his career in the construction industry as an apprentice carpenter in 1974 and progressed through leadership roles including lead man, foreman, superintendent, and project manager.
In 1982, Scott joined the management team as a Sales Representative for Connecticut and Rhode Island. He advanced to Vice President of Operations in 1985 and was subsequently appointed Executive Vice President of Sales in 1986. In 1987, he assumed the role of President of D.F. Pray following his father’s tenure, continuing the organization’s dedication to providing services with integrity. As a dedicated philanthropist, Scott actively contributes his efforts to meaningful causes through the Pray Family Foundation.
