Originating in 1997 as a charity golf tournament in memory of Ron Carr, an esteemed member of the D.F. Pray family and a valued friend, The Pray Family Foundation has evolved significantly.
Our mission is dedicated to funding research aimed at eradicating Leukemia and Lymphoma, Neuroblastoma, and Pancreatic Cancer, as well as supporting research initiatives with Southcoast Health and various philanthropic activities within our operational communities. Our unwavering commitment is reflected in our ongoing efforts to raise funds to support cancer research.
The “419” Ron Carr Award
Each year, we select a recipient for the “419” Award. The 419 Sail holds substantial significance for Ron and embodies his enthusiasm for sailing.
