D.F. Pray has elevated Anne Dexter from Controller to Vice President of Finance. This promotion marks a significant milestone in Dexter’s journey with the company and highlights its commitment to nurturing internal talent.
Anne joined D.F. Pray as a controller in 2015, bringing three decades of construction industry experience. Her financial insight and extensive knowledge have been crucial to the company’s growth.

In her expanded role, Anne will spearhead the company’s strategic financial initiatives, from planning and forecasting to risk management and financial analysis. Anne attended Lesley University with additional studies at UMASS Dartmouth, she brings real-world expertise to this position.
Anne is an active participant in the Pray Family Foundation, a non-profit organization with a mission to fund research to eradicate various cancers and support kind works in the community. When she’s not crunching numbers, you might find her on the golf course – she’s a proud member of the RI Chapter of the LPGA Amateurs.
